Rejection motivates terrifically to the headstrong personalities and this is the chief most reason of their monumental success. Such people do not fumble easily or get demoralized by the failures. They do not lost hope either in their life but gather their courage and move ahead with more enthusiasm, vigor, fervor, passion and gusto. Their refutations and eliminations encourage such pigheaded humans to give a hard hit to the failures and step on them to accomplish their goals. These are common people from all walks of life but the common characteristics shared by them is their commitment, competitive streak, determination, obsession to complete the task, passion for improvement and not wavering during the period of crises.
As a job consultant, I always suggest my clients to stick to their objectives and the promises each of them have made to themselves. To motivate them from time to time, I give them live examples of highly successful business tycoons, celebrities, scientists, investors, thinkers, athletes, musicians, writers, poets, Hollywood stars and picture figures. Today, I thought it to share it with all those who feel disheartened due to the petty failures in life. This article will prove to be very beneficial to them and will stimulate their nerves while inducing a get – go feeling.
A.P.J Abdul Kalam Azad:

Our former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Azad found himself in world of pain when he bagged ninth position while there were only eight slots available in the IAF for the post of fighter pilot. Becoming pilot was his most cherished dream but he felt devastated when he could not accomplish his vision of rising up in the stratosphere. He stated that the recruiter depicted that a kind of smartness was missing in him. For his remarkable contribution in the development of ballistic missile technology, he is popularly known as “The Missile Man”. Though the life of our 11th president was full of struggle right from the beginning and he saw huge ups and downs and even sold newspaper at the age of 8, he moved ahead with an optimistic spirit understanding the power of sacrifice, toil and eminent virtues. Mr Kalam has himself summed up his life into a line- “Love poured to the child... struggle...more struggle....bitter tears...then sweet tears and finally a life as beautiful and fulfilling as seeing the birth of full moon.”
Narendra Modi:
A journey from a tea vendor to Prime Minister
In an interview Modi was asked his secret of success and he explicitly stated that the individual should not judge his life through the prism of success or failure. His buoyant attitude and spiritual demeanour made him reach the current altitude of success. Born in a small single story house, he strived hard to make both ends meet right from his childhood. He had a dream to wipe off the tears and bring an end to the suffering of all the Indians right from the beginning. He used to sell tea in his father’s tea stall during school days. To stay away from married life and chase his dreams, he left home in early stage. He was not even 18 that time. His zeal to serve the citizens of his country was explicitly visible right from his childhood. He organised a food stall when havoc was created and Tapi River was flooded. He was only 9 that time and his silent act laid a strong foundation to serve the country. He had an intense zeal to serve his nation and join the army. For that he left no stone un-turn but a strong opposition from his family made this mighty dreamer shattered once again. However, guided by the principle of “Serving the farthest”, he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the current Prime Minister of India creating the history. His life account teaches us a lesson that we should not get disheartened by the failures we incur in our life as life always has something more beautiful for us.
Amitabh Bachchan:
A failed Radio Jockey but a successful Bollywood personality
The Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan is popularly known as a Bollywood legend today but his success was not a piece of cake for him. His entry in film was a challenging one and he had to see lots of ups and downs to become unbeaten. When most of the heroes were comfortable playing as romantic hero, he created a niche by acting as an action hero. You would be surprised to know that the angry young man of Indian cinema has given 13 box office disasters and time tested his perseverance and patience further. His incredible success is the outcome of tremendous hard work, punctuality, determination, dedication, discipline, optimism, smart objectives, focus and passion to be successful. Amitabh Bachchan who has sung many popular songs today was once rejected by All India Radio just because they did not like his voice. Surprisingly, today he is well liked for his deep baritone and immaculate dialogue delivery and mind-blowing effect in the voice. One of the reasons he has caught the limelight is because of his voice. He has worked as a playback singer in 29 movies and worked as a narrator for French documentary too. His life teaches us a lesson that we should not get demoralised because of failures. Failures are part of life and we should never give up instead learn to live with it. He has even seen huge crises in 1995 when he opened an event management and production firm on his name which mired into controversy badly. In order to cope up the huge business losses he picked acting again. His comeback was with a big bang of “Kaun Banega Crorepati” which was the most watched TV show of India.
Dhirubhai Ambani:
Journey from a vegetable vendor to the owner of largest private sector company- Reliance
He is the owner of Reliance which is the largest private sector company of our country. Reliance is the first Indian company that is listed in Forbes 500 list. Popularly known as the most enterprising Indian entrepreneur, he used to sell vegetables to pilgrims on weekends. However, the son of a school teacher had a huge dream to chase and his journey crossed various stations. He worked as a gas attendant and clerk in an oil company. While serving these places, he accumulated some money and started his textile trading company with an amount of Rs 50,000. He is a great lesson for all those who want to start a business and can become a self made man. If a son of a vegetable vendor can be rated as “Greatest creator of wealth in the century” according to Times of India, why not we can gather the courage and do something on our own despite the hurdles, hardships and the financial conditions of our parents.
Patricia Narayan:

Patricia Narayan was herself not aware of her potentials but all she knew was that she would not tolerate the tortures of others. Thirty years back, she was living a devastated life with her two children at the age of 20. She was battling hard with a strenuous married life while trying to nurture her kids in the best possible way. She did everything possible to make both ends meet. She sold eateries on the Marina beach in the mid of all the troubles of life which included a multiple addicted husband too. The crises compelled her to start the business of homemade pickles, jams and various other food stuffs to sustain her day to day life. Her talent was admired a lot by others and understanding her potentials she ran canteens at various offices. She had never thought of winning the “FICCI Woman Entrepreneur of the Year’s Award” but she always ensured that quality is never compromised. She sticked to the skills she was good at. Her self confidence, strong belief and focus made her climb the mountains of success. After an arduous journey of 30 years, she could transform her daily income from 0.50 paise to 2 lakh a day. When she started her career, she appointed only 2 people but today she has 200 people working under her. She states that one should always assess his efficiency and keep going on but never waste his time in turning back and regretting on past.
In short to say, I would simply urge you not to take failures as the end of career or life. It is clandestine secret of success and success is the blend of perseverance and patience. Remember, do not feel dejected and have the fortitude and persistence to surpass your failures and thereby you will gather lots of eyeballs while staying in limelight.
